As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that requires an enhanced presence and asset protective services. This position an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day.

GSOC Operator Specialist

The GSOC operator is responsible for providing primary service support for in the areas of security access control

and alarm monitoring, fire system monitoring, emergency monitoring, threat alerting, CCTV monitoring, and

dispatching of personnel. The GSOC is the main intake for all responsibilities assigned to this site..

Main Responsibilities:

* Dispatching routine personnel and coordinating incident responses that occur on corporate premises, or

events, using appropriate communication methods.

o Responses can include medical emergencies, fire emergencies, civil emergencies and other

emergencies on company property.

o Responses might include coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency responders.

* Monitor, review, analyze and escalate CCTV at corporate facilities, up to including retail.

* Reporting out of the ordinary or abnormal conditions to the local security personnel.

* Receive, evaluate and disseminate incoming information and reports from multiple sources, including local

security personnel, facilities, company employees and vendors.

* Operate and monitor access control systems, actively engaging and analyzing alarms related to access

control and intrusion systems.

* Maintain process control systems and databases used with the GSOC.

* Utilize monitoring workstations and emergency systems.

* Provide support to the duties outlined by Security Leadership and GSOC Management as needed. Support

other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* 1-3 years of experience in a security function, preferably in a Security Control Center environment.

* Working towards a bachelor's degree, preferable in Information Technology, Business, Emergency

Management, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or further related fields.

* Computer Proficient: Microsoft Office, Typing WPM 30+

* Experience in Access Control and CCTV monitoring

* Ability to work in a fast-paced organization; coordinate and manage multiple tasks with potentially limited

supervision.

* Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

* Secondary language is preferred.
