Job Description

PCI is seeking an energetic, dependable, and motivated BIM Modeler for its operations based in the greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA area. This individual will be responsible for:

50%

    Create 3D models utilizing Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Develop and model scopes as requested, including interior and exterior walls, ceiling and soffit framing, acoustical ceilings, specialty panels, raised access flooring, cleanroom walls and ceilings, Unistrut framing, No Fly Zones and more using Revit and Metal Wood Framer.
  • Process shop drawings, incorporate comments, produce details and layout files.
  • Create and maintain elements of the model aligned with instructions, guidelines, in-house standards and the project's BIM standards for PCI's scope.
  • Actively monitor and streamline Revit models from projects and coordinate change management process to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aware of changes and impacts.
  • Utilize Navisworks Manage to run clash detection and identify potential issues.

  • Conduct safety meetings
  • Create and manage punch lists
  • Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program
  • Prepare RFI's and submittals
  • Do labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
  • Support the implementation of the job schedule
  • Coordinate warranties and O&M's
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • Technical degree in related discipline including Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture, Engineering, or comparable work experience.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • General knowledge of trade tools, equipment and materials used in the construction industry.
  • Ability to understand design and document coordination.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Ability to multitask.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Dynamo, BIM 360 Design, Sketch Up, Rhino, and/or Navisworks Manage is a plus

Salary: $57,000-72,000

This role is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship
