Parametrix is seeking a NEPA Specialist/Project Manager to join our team in Portland, Oregon. We provide innovative environmental permitting solutions for federal, state, and local agencies and for our region's most complex transportation, infrastructure, site development, and industrial projects. Our environmental practice includes hardworking professionals who are fun, collaborative, and dedicated. This position has the flexibility to work in one of our Oregon or SW Washington locations or another Parametrix office.

Who you are:

Experienced: Bachelor's degree in environmental or biological sciences, planning, or similar. Master's degree preferred. 8+ years of NEPA experience with a focus on water or energy infrastructure, permitting, and climate work.

Diligent: You will have the opportunity to lead planning services while partnering with other planners, scientists, and engineers. Job responsibilities include conducting NEPA impact analyses; leading and coordinating the preparation of EISs, EAs, categorical exclusions, and related environmental documentation; leading environmental permitting efforts; and developing documentation for a variety of planning studies. The position will entail environmental permitting in Oregon and Washington. Experience in permitting in other western states including Idaho, Montana, Utah and California is a plus.

Relationship-focused: This role will focus on project management and delivery, business development, and client development. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, and the ability to partner with clients, agency staff, and co-workers are crucial.

Skilled in Project Management: Demonstrated experience and success in managing and delivering projects as well as developing client relationships and marketing environmental planning services.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Parametrix offers competitive market compensation. Base salary for this position is in the range of $90,000-$120,000+. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program.
