The Clinical Fellow will commit to a one (1) year fellowship position. In which you will gain exceptional experience, which will help you further your career.Join our collaborative team of Acute Care Therapists. Our team provides comprehensive speech, language, swallowing and cognitive therapy to a diverse patient population at a Level 2 trauma hospital, including patients in intensive care, neuro-trauma care, cardio-vascular care, oncology and general medical units. Instrumental evaluations are performed daily and on site. In your clinical fellowship year, you will apply the principles of professional practice in Speech-Language Pathology in evaluating and treating communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders to restore, reinforce and/or enhance a person's ability to function as independently as possible. You will also develop home programs and provide care giver/family training to enhance ongoing intervention.
