The Department of Human Resources is now hiring a Human Resources Business Systems Manager to configure, manage, and continuously improve the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) used at Washington County. A key partner with Information Technology stakeholders, this position regularly interfaces on technical matters such as systems support, implementations, and new projects/improvements. Immediate projects for this position include overseeing the human resources functional team leading the build and implementation of the County's new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Workday. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the complex workflows and data paths within various HRIS's, preferably including Workday.
This position has a hybrid schedule dependent on business needs.
Our Ideal Candidate will understand the business of human resources including its operations and different functional areas to ensure the HRIS systems support the needs of the County employees and human resources subject matter experts. They will possess knowledge in, or the ability to learn, the regulatory requirements surrounding employment law and information security related matters, including but not limited to personally identifiable data, HIPAA privacy, E-Verify/I9 requirements, and labor relations. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in cultivating proactive and innovated human resources teams through fostering a culture of learning, trust, transparency, and celebration of achievements. Although not required to be considered, experience in the public sector is preferred.
