Position Purpose: | The Maintenance Worker does primary repairs, preventative maintenance, and landscaping for the Florence Center and coordinates the completion of more complex repairs, maintenance, and landscaping with main campus Facilities staff. |

Physical Demands/Working Environment: | Stand and/or walk for extended periods; bend, stoop and twist repeatedly; work at heights of over twenty (20) feet as required by the position; lift and carry ladders, power and hand tools, maintenance equipment, and furniture weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; lift furniture weighing more than fifty (50) pounds with assistance; climb, work in confined spaces and work on knees as required by the position. History Lane was founded in 1964 by a vote of local citizens, and the main campus opened in 1968. The college was a successor to the Eugene Technical-Vocational School that was founded in 1938.
