Job Description

Employee-owned Performance Contracting Group, one of the nation's largest specialty contractors, is looking for an energetic, dependable, and flexible individual for the position of Contract Administrator at our Portland location.

This position will include learning the PCG-specific processes for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and administrative support for large jobs.

Accounts Receivable: Complete monthly contract billings, work with Project Management teams to prepare job specific forms timely and accurately.

Accounts Payable: Review and process invoices daily, investigate and resolve vendor inquiries, review statements and release payments.

Payroll: Assist with weekly payroll for 500+ field employees, maintain union compliance, report jobsite hours.

Jobsite support: Includes but is not limited to electronically filing documents, contract billings, payroll support, etc.

Daily office tasks: Assist with answer phone calls, order supplies, restocking, monitor incoming mail and outgoing shipping needs.

The long-term goal of this position is to achieve a broad level of understanding in the administrative departments to be able to help cover for others.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

    Minimum 2 years office experience
  • Computer proficiency - This includes the standard Microsoft Office Suite tools, as well as the ability to learn ever-evolving industry standard platforms and software

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and multitask.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • 10-Key by touch
  • Experience in one or more of the following roles: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Payroll

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working in the construction industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Local to the Portland area.

Pay Range: $24-27/hour

Potential for Remote working is reviewed after 6 months of consistent and accurate work.
