Position Overview:

Responsible for planning and overseeing project completion on time, on scope and on budget. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and an ability to influence business and technical leaders in a dynamic environment are required.

Project Manager I will scope and execute initiatives by partnering with client team and internal stakeholders to understand and prioritize initiatives to improve organization performance.

What you'll do as the Project Manager I:

Project Management

  • Lead project onboarding according to project scope and SOW documentation
  • Coordinate engagement of resources and subject matter experts across various organizational functions for Project Startup
  • Gather project requirements and develop project Playbooks and SOPs
  • Obtain requirements for Bill of Materials (BOM) development
  • Gather rollout schedule and document SLA requirements
  • Drive all project requirements such as project changes, product lead time, rollout requirements, and inventory planning through IntelliPlan.
  • Define, track and report on specific measurable outcomes for projects
  • Define inventory requirements based on schedule and work with Supply Chain on lead time and schedule of inventory arrival
  • Responsible for all aspects of project billing including services.

Client Support

  • Build strong relationships with customer operations stakeholders. Be the main point of contact for customer operational requirements.
  • Schedule internal and external daily/weekly cadence meetings regarding project status and changes
  • Obtain client schedule and deployment signoff
  • Manage deployment and schedule changes, adjust schedule and inventory changes accordingly in IntelliPlan
  • Coordinate invoicing of inventory according to contractual agreements (MSA, MISA, SOW)
  • Communicate changes with client and manage escalations as required
  • Gather reporting requirements and develop custom reporting as needed
  • Gather client requirements for ITAD and Depot projects and coordinate appropriate setup
  • Manage scope changes and develop Project Change Requests (PCR) based on client requirements, including additional costs and SLA definitions. Limit scope creep.

Inventory Planning via IntelliPlan

  • Complete project toolkit for IntelliPlan
  • Input project deployment schedule and BOM requirements into IntelliPlan
  • Ensure product lead times are loaded and maintained by Supply Chain
  • Ensure product availability in accordance to schedule; monitor schedule in IntelliPlan
  • Coordinate deployment rollout with TSC for TSC readiness against schedule
  • Manage and communicate schedule changes, adjust schedule and inventory changes accordingly in IntelliPlan
  • Gather stock standards requirements and input forecast into IntelliPlan

Inventory Management

  • Define product standards and forecast requirements in coordination with the client
  • Define Inventory requirements for project rollouts
  • Set safety stock threshold
  • Manage inventory levels against forecast and safety stock and adjust as needed
  • Manage inventory levels against project schedule and adjust as needed
  • Work with Supply Chain to adjust inbound inventory levels according to project schedule
  • Work with Supply Chain to manage OEMs when product is available ahead of schedule
  • Invoice customer on receipt and convert inventory to client owned according to MSA, MISA and SOW
  • Update BOM to include SKU changes from Zones owned SKU to Client Owned SKUs

Implementation

  • Responsible for project start-up with project delivery stakeholders. Coordinate engagement of partner resources and subject matter experts across multiple projects & organizational functions
  • Coordinate order entry and order management in CRM
  • Manage issues and decisions to timely resolution. Communicate with senior management teams to escalate/resolve project conflicts, risks, and needs.
  • Formulate plans to communicate and implement approved changes for the best return on investment
  • Accountable for SLA deliverables according to project scope as documented in Statements of Work
  • Responsible for thorough internal reporting on project health, risks, and requirements.
  • Responsible for managing project closeout, including inventory disposition, client satisfaction measurements, and summary findings for all parties.
  • Formulate and summarize findings as well-organized presentations to senior management; effectively summarize key information (e.g. cost savings, risk, efficiency improvements, accountability metrics, etc.)

What you will bring to the team:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (or a related field) and/or equivalent professional experience;
  • PMP and/or ITIL Certification equivalency preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in program/ project management, process engineering or strategy within a technology or operations environment
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Inventory Management is preferable
  • Leadership skills: must have experience leading multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Problem solving skills: must be able to identify risks and develop actionable mitigation plans
  • Analytical skills: must be highly analytical with experience in using objective data to drive strategic recommendations
  • Communications skills: must be able to concisely explain complex issues, communicate well in writing and verbally, and be able to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas
  • Intellectual curiosity: must possess a desire to understand why/how things work vs. simply completing the task at hand
  • Knowledge of and experience using Project Management Software
  • Possesses strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $58,000 - $85,000.

Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
