PACCAR WINCH Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR. PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets. We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager. This position is an on-site office position located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Job Summary

The Information Technology Manager is highly motivated, results-oriented professional who will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing Information System activities in accordance with PACCAR standards and policies. Responsible for managing the workload and priorities of the teams, helping establish strategy and providing direction and managing to a budget.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage IT Operations activities for PACCAR WINCH
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and competencies
  • Ability to manage staffing prioritization to maximize delivery
  • Ability to deliver executive updates and presentations
  • Able to communicate complex technical situations in business terms
  • Coordinate and align program plans across multiple projects and organization initiatives
  • Coordinates with executive management to ensure people, processes, and technologies adequately meet business objectives that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Develop and execute project plans and timelines for internal and external customers
  • Continually seek to improve department processes
  • Implement and oversee security, audit, and compliance activities for IT
  • Able to provide technical guidance and influence across division
  • Consults business users on technology changes that will impact work processes
  • Coordinate changes to systems with Master Change Control calendar
  • 1st/2nd level support for problem resolution
  • Oversees all IT activities at two manufacturing facilities, ensuring adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitors systems and technology performance at two manufacturing facilities and identifies corrective actions and new requirements.
  • Preserves business continuity by managing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Coordinates preparation of IT budgets for assigned departments and monitors expenditures against allocations.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified IT staff through hiring, coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of industry-related experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience managing a software development group desired
  • Strong skills in hardware and software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a team approach
  • Ability and willingness to work off-hours and weekends
  • Must be self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to lead others as well as work with minimal or no supervision; able to work with others in high-pressure situations to solveproblems
    Competency with Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office 2016 - 2019 and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Install and support software packages, operating system updates, and configure hardware
  • Interact and provide technical guidance to end users
