Primary Responsibilities:

In the role of Mechanical EIT, we'll count on you to:

  • Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
  • Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
  • HVAC and plumbing designs with the assistance of a senior engineer
  • Prepare calculations for duct, fans, pipe and valve sizing
  • Specify or edit specifications for chillers, fans, pumps and valves
  • Prepare Bill of Materials and cost estimates
  • Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
  • Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and progress
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • EIT or the ability to obtain. Candidates hired without the EIT will be called a Mechanical Coordinator and expected to obtain the EIT for career progression
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Revit
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial, Data Center or Municipal experience preferred
  • Trane Trace 700, Trace 3D Plus, or other HVAC loading modeling software
